CCTV & Alarms Engineer 

If you are an enthusiastic, skilled, experienced and motivated person then we are looking for you to join our dynamic team of experts.

With over 47 years’ experience Lincoln Security currently work across a variety of sectors including local domestic and Lincolnshire businesses, schools, colleges and universities to national infrastructure and utility companies across the country. Due to consistent growth within our Electronic Security department, we are seeking an experienced installation, service and corrective maintenance engineer to join our team. You will be on the frontline for our company, providing our clients with first-class service and expert installation and maintenance services.

In this important role, you will be responsible for attending our client sites to install, maintain and repair a range of Electronic Security systems.

Main Duties:

  • Providing excellent customer service and care
  • Installing, maintaining and servicing electronic security systems and all associated equipment In Lincoln, Lincolnshire and surrounding counties to large commercial, smaller businesses and domestic customers who are all really important to us
  • Occasionally surveying and obtaining information to assist with the preparation of quotations
  • Completing high quality and prestigious works in line with our stringent company Policies & Procedures, SSAIB Accreditation and the ISO:2015 Quality Standards

Person Specification:

  • Someone with experience at installing, maintaining and servicing electronic security systems including (but not limited to) IP and analogue CCTV and Alarm systems
  • Someone with Fire Alarm installation qualifications (would be an advantage)
  • A capacity and willingness to adhere to flexible working hours over any 24-hour period and participate in a callout rota with other colleagues
  • IT Skills – An interest in IP CCTV and associated systems
  • Ability to work confidently within a team or alone and communicate well with others
  • Someone who can look after our valued customers and provide excellent customer care

To be considered for this role you will need to show previous experience working with Electronic Security Systems, a willingness to work at heights, a full UK Driving License. The successful candidate will be required to pass a relevant DBS check.

Master Key Technician

Are you technically minded with a creative eye for detail but also have some aspirations to run your own department one day?

We are offering a firm foundation for the right candidate who would like to be a Master Key/Bench Locksmith Technician but who also can be trained to support our Master Key department Manager and the potential to run the department when the manager is on annual leave.

If you are enthusiastic, skilled, experienced, motivated, dependable and organised then we are looking for you to join our dynamic team of experts within the Master key Department.

A working week would consist of:

  • Pinning up cylinders, locks and padlocks as part of the Master key systems, often in large quantities,
  • Cutting various high security keys from copy or code.
  • Assemble, service and repair existing locks.
  • Record details of registered keys and products on our system database.
  • Understand stock control and management.
  • Processing Sales Orders instructions.
  • Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times.

Personal Specification:

  • We require you to be well presented, punctual, honest, accountable and diligent
  • Technologically competent
  • The ability to work on repetitive tasks with great attention to detail
  • Able to communicate with confidence and a strong ability to multi-task
