Lincoln Security is seeking a full-time Installation, Maintenance and Servicing Engineer for our Electronic Security Systems Team, where you are skilled at installing CCTV systems, Intruder Alarm systems, and Fire Alarm systems.

We are seeking an experienced installation, service and corrective maintenance engineer to join our team. You will be on the frontline providing our clients with first-class, expert installation and maintenance services. Ideally, you should have at least 4 years + experience in the industry.
In this important role, you will be responsible for attending our client sites to install, maintain, technical fault finds, and repair a range of Electronic Security systems so you need to be familiar with systems such as Pyronix, Hikvision, Gent, Texecom, Honeywell, Hochiki, Texecom, Ziton. We cover advanced addressable Fire Alarm Systems, alongside conventional options.
Your Day at the Trade Counter:
- Become a Bench Locksmith & Key Cutting Pro: Learn to cut all types of keys and create keys for various locks. Gain hands-on experience with key cutting machinery and locksmithing techniques.
- Master Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to our retail shop customers. Assist them in finding the right products for their needs, offer expert advice, and complete transactions efficiently.
- Embrace Lifelong Learning: Develop a deep understanding of locks, padlocks, keys, UPVC mechanisms, safes, architectural ironmongery, and more. We will provide comprehensive training and mentorship to fuel your growth.
- Be a Team Player: Build positive relationships with colleagues and contribute to a friendly and welcoming work & retail environment.
Training – Fully Subsidised/Paid for by us:
- First Year Training: Apprentice Trade Supplier (Level 2), GAI Foundation in Architectural Hardware.
- On-going training: Once above is complete, you will be expected to undertake the 2-year GAI Certificate in Architectural Hardware.
- Further Training: Once this is complete, GAI has further specialist qualifications available in Scheduling, Electric Hardware and Access Control, or Door Systems (at present). For the right person with the right drive, we would consider putting you through one of these too.
