Fire & Security Engineer

Lincoln Security is seeking a full-time Installation, Maintenance and Servicing Engineer for our Electronic Security Systems Team, where you are skilled at installing CCTV systems, Intruder Alarm systems, and Fire Alarm systems.

We are seeking an experienced installation, service and corrective maintenance engineer to join our team. You will be on the frontline providing our clients with first-class, expert installation and maintenance services. Ideally, you should have at least 4 years + experience in the industry.

In this important role, you will be responsible for attending our client sites to install, maintain, technical fault finds, and repair a range of Electronic Security systems so you need to be familiar with systems such as Pyronix, Hikvision, Gent, Texecom, Honeywell, Hochiki, Texecom, Ziton. We cover advanced addressable Fire Alarm Systems, alongside conventional options.

Main Duties:

• Installing, maintaining and servicing electronic security systems and all associated equipment In Lincoln, Lincolnshire and surrounding counties to large commercial & industrial, smaller businesses, and domestic customers
• Occasionally surveying and obtaining information to assist with the preparation of quotations
• Completing high-quality and prestigious works in line with our stringent company Policies & Procedures, SSAIB Accreditation and the ISO:2015 Quality Standards
• Inclusion in a callout rota 1/6 with other colleagues

Person Specification – The Requirements:

• Experience and high level of competency in Installation, Maintenance and Servicing of Intruder Alarm Systems in both Domestic and Commercial premises. Including understanding the difference between a Grade 2 & 3 system, and an understanding of monitored systems through an ARC.
• Experience and high level of competency in Installation, Maintenance and Servicing of CCTV Systems in both Domestic and Commercial premises. Including understanding of both analogue, and IP networked systems
• Experience and high level of competency in Installation, Maintenance and Servicing of Fire Alarm Systems in Commercial premises. Including understanding of both conventional and addressable systems, and BS3589-1.
• Experience and high level of competency in investigating & correcting a variety of faults on Intruder, CCTV, and Fire Alarm systems.
• Experience working both alone and with a team, especially in communicating with all parts of the department & customers.
• Experienced and Confident with working at height.
• Current & Clean Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• Must pass DBS check on acceptance due to the nature of working in security

Desired:

· Current recognised level 3 (or above) qualifications in Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV Systems, and Fire Alarm Systems

· Current recognised CPD in Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV Systems, and Fire Alarm Systems

· Current PASMA Card

· Current IPAF Card in Categories 1b, 3b, and 3a MEWPs

· Working at Height Training

· Asbestos Awareness Training

· Current DBS Check

· Current CSCS Card

· Current ECS Card

· First Aid Training
