This is your chance to join skilled, experienced, and motivated team of engineers, providing reliable security solutions mainly across Lincolnshire, but potentially further afield.

As one of our experienced Door Automation & Access Control Engineer, you will be:

• Installing and maintaining electronic access control (PAC, Paxton, Intratone, Geze), and door automation systems (Record/Geze) for customers/clients across Lincolnshire and occasionally further afield.
• Service, Maintenance and Fault Finding for all systems
• Installing and maintaining mechanical locking devices, doors, and associated products and equipment.
• Conducting tests, inspections, and compliance checks in accordance with current British Standards.
• Training clients/customers on the correct and safe use of their security equipment.

The non-negotiables

• Previous Experience in Door Automation & Access Control Installation, and the security industry, is imperative in this role.
• Flexibility to travel to work both inside and outside of Lincolnshire, potentially staying away overnight Monday to Friday when required.
• Your Attention to Detail must be second to none, while also taking responsibility for your work, taking initiative, and embracing challenge.
• Customer Service skills must be excellent, as you are a company representative on site. Going above and beyond to promote customer satisfaction.

Bonus points

• General Woodworking/joinery skills, steel and fabrication skills are desirable
• ADSA qualification would be an advantage

Key Information

Job Title: Door Automation & Access Control Engineer

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 (DOE) Negotiable

Location: Site based at Whisby Way, LN6 3LQ although you won’t spend much time there

Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday

Contract: Full-time, Permanent
